MOUNT BUFFALO SNOW CONDITIONS
16-08-2017
After two days of rain there is a lot of damage to the snow pack but we are expecting good snowfalls Thursday and Friday. The weekend of the 19th and 20th August will be less stormy and should have good snow and be a great weekend to visit Mount Buffalo.

We will keep you informed of conditions. Be prepared to fit chains and drive carefully. Have a great time in the snow at our Winter Wonderland. Regular weather and snow updates can be found at
https://www.facebook.com/VisitMountBuffalo/.

There are spectacular views of the Alps from the gorge and our walking tracks are a great way to see our waterfalls, granite pinnacles, snow plains and forests. So spoil yourself and "Visit Mount Buffalo" this Winter.

4 PEAKS ALPINE CLIMB TUESDAY 7th NOVEMBER 2017

The 4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb run at Mt Buffalo is on the fourth day in a series of four trail runs. The series is held on Melbourne Cup weekend every year, and has been run continuously since 1979. The climbs are not easy but are well within the reach of reasonably fit people.

Starting at the Eurobin Creek Picnic Area, runners depart the lower end of the picnic area onto The Big Walk. The Big Walk winds its way up Mt Buffalo and finishes at the Old Buffalo Chalet. Take a camera - the views and landscapes are amazing.
