Cafe closed 22 and 23 July

Dingo Dell Cafe, the Day Shelter (and the Ski School shop) will be closed Monday 22 and Tuesday 23rd July to give the staff a well earned break after the busy school holidays. Reopening Wednesday 24th July. There are toilets available at Cresta Valley and the Cathedral Car Park.

CHAINS AT MOUNT BUFFALO

Chains must be carried to Mount Buffalo until further notice (Normally all of July and August). Chains are required when there is snow forecast below 1600 metres and / or the roads have ice or snow cover - There are daily updates by Parks Victoria provided to ski hires etc and we provide detailed visitor snow and weather info on our Face Book page.

4 PEAKS ALPINE CLIMB SATURDAY 3th NOVEMBER 2018

Starting at the Eurobin Creek Picnic Area, runners depart the lower end of the picnic area onto The Big Walk. The Big Walk winds its way up Mt Buffalo and finishes at the Old Buffalo Chalet. Take a camera - the views and landscapes are amazing.

The 4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb run at Mt Buffalo on Saturday, 3 November 2018 is on the first day in a series of four trail runs.

The series is held on Melbourne Cup weekend every year, and has been run continuously since 1979. The climbs are not easy but are well within the reach of reasonably fit people.
