Mount Buffalo is located in Victoria's High Country, 60km south east of Wangaratta in North East Victoria.

All vehicle access to the Mount Buffalo plateau is via the Mount Buffalo Tourist Road from Porepunkah. For more information see Getting Here.

If you're feeling energetic, The Big Walk starts at the foot of the mountain and ends 11km and 1,000 vertical metres later at The Gorge car park.
