Mount Buffalo Spring (Sept. to Nov.)

As the snow melts and the days start to get longer and warmer, the wattles on Mount Buffalo start to flower. By early November the sides of Mount Buffalo are a sea of yellow (Best seen close up on the lower Mount Buffalo Road). As the snowmelt runs off the plateau and the spring rains occur, Mount Buffalo's amazing Waterfalls become spectacular and are easier to access and view in better weather conditions. The Eurobin, Rollasons and Crystal Brook Falls are easy to access from carparks along Mount Buffalo Road. Dixons Falls are hiked across the snow plains at Cresta Valley and other waterfalls such as the Ribbon fall on the Eurobin Slabs are easy to view from the Mount Buffalo road after heavy rain.
